It's a cozy place to go to enjoy a delicious hot or cold sandwich, the coffee flavor is excellent...although I have to admit that not even many fine dining restaurants within Monterey Peninsula do not carry the Illy Coffee. For those of you who knows the flavor...I am sure you will definitely enjoy it. The prices are a little bit high. The service needs more attention once seated on the table. I will definitely will go back. If you are local they have a coffee card as well.

Overpriced average food. This is a delli not a resturant and the food meets this expectation.

“Overpriced and Not Good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2009

I came in for a late lunch and had the hot barbecued beef sandwich, which comes on a sourdough roll and is topped with coleslaw. It was a pretty small sandwich for $7.50, and came with a small pickled green tomato section. The taste was bland, the roll was overly chewy, and it was totally overpriced, maybe a $4 sandwich at best. The attitude of the staff was basically "we don't care", and it shows in their food. No good, will not go back.

Good sandwiches, but the desserts are touchy since they store them in the same fridge as other foods. Savory raspberry crumble is kinda gross.

“Nice cafe food with a twist”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2008

My girlfriend and I went here as we saw an add in our hotels welcome book. We ordered a Veggie Lasagne and Veggie Quiche and they were both very good.

The veggie Lasagne used char grilled veggies which was an interesting twist.

The portions were very large and did not need any extra deli side salads which were only $1.50.

I would recommend the food as it was very nice although the Lasagne was not fully heated we simply asked for it to be heated again and it was fine.
