The Big Wok is Mongolian Barbeque. The restaurant has been around over twenty years (they moved to this larger location a number of years ago) and I've been eating here that long.
You start out with various meats --- beef, lamb, chicken. You move on to cabbage, noodles, tofu, pineapple, mushrooms, carrots, tiny corn, and other vegetables. Finally, you make up your own sauce out of barbeque sauce, lemon or ginger water, oil, curry sauce, and spicy. You take this up to the big wok and the cooks push it around the grill and hand you the steaming plate.
The all-you-can eat dinner comes with rice and delicious sesame rolls. It's a great value, particularly if you are starving! I can't finish the food when I go through one time, let alone going through multiple times!
In twenty years Mongolian Barbeque has gone from being unknown to being found in every mall. This predates the newcomers, and is so much better!. Everything here is very fresh and the atmosphere is fun.
