Description: Duke's Malibu has brought the excitement of Hawaii, Waikiki, and surfing to the mainland. The spectacular oceanfront location on Pacific Coast Highway offers over 300 feet of romantic oceanfront dining and memorabilia from both Hawaii and California surfing history. The Barefoot Bar, looking south into the lights of Santa Monica, is a great spot for drinks and casual food with friends.

When you first walk into Dukes, the dining area is dated, but, the views are amazing. I recommend outdoor dining, wonderful ocean front views. As far as the food goes, the fish and chips are always fresh and the fish tacos could be great, as well, if, they used corn tortilla's instead of flour, the way an authentic baja cali taco is made. All in all, I always recommend Dukes to friends for their great views, food quality and pricing.

This is my husband and my favourite restaurant in LA. The service here is outstanding and location is breaktaking - right on the ocean!
Our favourite thing to get is whatever the fresh fish of the day is done in the Parmesan & Herb crusted style. The coconut shrimp is amazing too. (which is saying a lot because I don't like shrimp!) Make sure you save room for dessert! You can't leave without having the Hula Pie!
They also make a mean Mai Tai!
The weekend brunch is also amazing!
It's a super fun place and great for a romantic date or a place to have drinks with friends!

Duke's offers a wide variety of fresh seafood prepared in an assortment of styles. The types of fish change daily based on fresh availability. Their free range chicken dish is also very flavorful. The pricing is moderate, but the view of the waves breaking on the rocks as the sun is setting pleasantly exceeds expectations. Getting your order to the kitchen may take time, but once it is received the wait isn't long. It is easy to eat your way through many hot sourdough rolls while you wait.

Great place to stop for a bite and a beer if traveling down the coast through Mailbu. Nice beer selection, and the fish & sushi if great. My only complaint is the food-service fries....just did not measure up to the quality of everything else. I never can understand why places with great burgers sacrifice in that area. I would rather have something fresh made, even if it is not fried.

Dukes is a nice fun atmosphere on the Pacific Coast Highway. I brought my husband there for the Friday night hula show and $5 mai tai's, it was nice.
