Hard to find behind the strip mall shops but worth it. Herb bread to die for. Butter lettuce with almonds and goat cheese salad was yummy. Veal Limone was one of the most tender yeal dishes ever.

This restaurant has been around for a very long time and it is a favorite hang out for locals. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. The fish dishes are always a good choice- so is the Osso Bucco when available. They will prepare any dish to your liking and specifications. The wine list is ok. You will need reservation for Friday or Saturday or any holiday night.

When malibu can't seem to keep a new restaurant open for longer than 6 months Guido's has had a run longer than just about any.
It's a local hang, And by local I don't mean celebs but real folks.
The decor is somewhat 80's gaudy. And it has average Italian food.
But the service is good, the wine list is decently priced and with a good selection.
The pasta is good, not great and sauce (or gravy depending on your coastal upbringing) is nothing to blow a horn over but does the job.
The calamari is light and crispy with a little bland marinara.
So why is it still alive? Because it is what it is. And in a town where everyone is trying to cater to the public's perception of what they believe malibu is, they will continue to out price themselves.
