We went here for a lunch over the weekend. I made the online reservation. . We arrived like an hour before our reservation as advice by some of the people here in TA. The reservation was for 11:45 but the parking was full, so we heeded for the valet parking. Valet attendants are nice and always there to help. The I proceeded to the hostess to get in line . I was told the wait time was around 15 mins, which surprised me being on a Sunday, although arriving an hour early.
So we were given a device to alert us if the table was ready. But still the 15 mins took around 30-45 mins wait anyways. When its our time to be seated, we heeded to our outside table. The waiter is somehow trying to make the service faster but as they say , the service was a bit slow. I don't know if being a weekend , or its a day to day occurrence. We ordered and it took a while for the order to arrive. Once were done, the bill total to around $100 plus a tip of around $20 and we just ordered the sample (hot) platter, the regular salad, one bowl of clam chowder, Maine lobster pasta and a grilled cheese sandwich kids meal. I have coffee and my wife had just water for drinks. The food is just OK , it's not that spectacular! Then we got our parking ticket validated, thus ending up paying $6 for the 4 hour parking (we stayed there around over 3 hrs all in all). We give $5 tip for the valet parking attendant. Otherwise, if you will not eat and consume around $30 , you will end up paying $40 for parking. Valet parking is free anyways. Then they have this walk ins for parking like $20/person , yes per person and once validated, it goes down to $6/person . But even if you ate and consume $30 at the restaurant, but stayed over 4 hours, you will still end up paying the max of $40 for parking. For the ambiance, its really close to the beach, They have chairs near the beach outside the restaurant free on a first come first serve basis. Or you can either order to go and eat outside and sit to the chairs. They also have a shuttle, complimentary, but did not try it and don't know how it goes,The water was cold, the waves are medium but there is a lot of dirt in the waters. Overall , its an average restaurant, and an over hyped/over priced place to dine in.
