“A great time at the beach”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

Read all the reviews good and bad. We had an awesome time here, Stuck with the seafood and margaritas and there was nothing to complain about. The service was better than the norm and the weather made the day perfect. I will go back.....

“Casey did a nice job as did the manager. I should have not had the shrimp all you can eat. Otherwise it's a go-back.”
Reviewed March 7, 2013 via mobile

Great atmosphere, world class location. Where else can you eat like this right on the beach. Will have fried shrimp again: lightly fried and great red sauce. Small loaf of bread was good as was chowder. Spinach side good as well. The night I was there the guitar music was very pleasant. Lots of movie history here but the draw for me is the beach.
Casey very helpful; got the manager to get my boarding pass when my AT&T phone couldn't get a signal.
Going back soon.

“Great atmosphere at a packed location...”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

We went here as its a local for friends on mine. There was a queue to get in but they take your name and give you a plastic lobster which vibrates when your tabel is ready. You were able to get to the bar where the cocktails, beers or anything you wanted to drink was available. There were a few large family gatherings and also many people doing take outs. It was enjoyable. The food was ok as you got what you ordered - the exception of ordering calamari which they literally loaded up in a avery large glass which was heaped with fries.... just too much. It was great to soak up the atmosphere and the sun on a perfect weekend and altho parking is $3 per visit at least your car is safe. I will be back and the mere fact that my friends in Malibu love the place....

“HORRIBLE”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Just had breakfast....worst eggs benedict I have ever had. I couldn't eat them. $3 to park for 45 minutes to look at one of the worst dishes I have ever been served. Go anywhere in Malibu but here. I get it if you have to have a meal on the beach but do not expect to have good food. At 10:30 am the salad bar was fully out as well. Not sure who is ordering that this early but I can assume it will be sitting there for the next hour and a half until lunch-time. WIll avoid eating here ever again....

Great cafe full of buzz for Presidents Day public holiday and why not the weather was fantastic. Food ok as they were very busy but was prompt service. Lots of fun.
