“Scenic beach spot”
Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

Nothing better than riding down the coast on hwy 1 checking the surf, except a stop at Paradise Cove. The view inside or out of the Pacific is just a little bit of Heaven. My favorite is their Farmers Market salad bar but can you go wrong with any of their other tasty treats? I think not! Their shrimp Louie salad is my wife's personal favorite. Scooping up some peanuts on the way to your table adds to the experience. Try it you will like it!

“It is all about location”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

The food here is good. Over-priced, but you are paying for location. You can sit outside under umbrellas with your feet in the sand---that's worth a good chunk of change. Again, the food is good--just over-priced. The service is spotty. Don't have high expectations for your water and tea to be refilled without asking. All that said, this is a must experience for visitors to Malibu, just for the location.

“Stunning location with decent food and great ambiance (outside)”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

My girlfriend and I ate there late evening after work followed by site seeing...or star stalking. The place was hidden all the way in the back and it was a good thing I had cash (who carries cash?) because you had to pay for parking. Apparently this is common to pay for parking at a restaurant. Anyway, it was worth it. We sat outside under the tent and even though it was dark and cool, you could see and feel the beauty of the place. We did see Peter Gabriel and the Arquette chic he's dating but they were snobby and must have been fighting. My friend got the endless shrimp and I got barbeque chicken tacos and both meals were delicious. For dessert we got the chocolate cake to split and one piece was the size of a whole chocolate cake! However, it was not that good, tasted like it sat out all day and parts were hardened. We also got 2 espressos and the bill was about $100 before tip. The staff was great and it was so nice meeting up with an old friend we didn't mind any of it. I would recommend it more for couples or adult gatherings. Oh and dress code was anywhere from extremely casual to formal, anything goes.

“Very underwhelmed.”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Breakfast for two of us - pancakes for one and oatmeal for the other - was $30. Food nothing special. People not that friendly. Places like this make money because of their location - simple as that. Wont be going back.
