“Doesn't disappoint, eat outside if possible”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Great place for a casual seafood meal. Order at the window and find a seat (outside is best). Food is ready for pick up when you hear your name called. Great variety and moderate prices, especially considering the location across from the beach. Have been before and will return. Always consistently good food in a casual setting.

“Fabulous seafood”

The food is great every-time, seafood is fresh. Very casual, lines are long and parking is tough but worth it! We go every time we are in LA!

“Great Spot in Malibu”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

First time visitor to Reel Inn but will be back again to sample more of the menu.

All the seafood looked fresh and the counter staff were friendly.

Loved the outdoor seating area and found the Mahi Mahi sandwich to be very tasty indeed. Very generous portions too.

The free parking is a big plus in this very busy area of Malibu.

“Ocean-View seafood”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Obviously a local favorite for the convenience of beachgoers, this place had a personality all it's own. It was a seafood market and restaurant. The first time the fish and chips was red snapper and was fresh, thick, and flakey. The second, it was flat and crunchy. Ask what kind of fish. I wish I had tried th steamed clams.

“Reeled in and caught!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

This place was a recommendation for lunch, so we made our way along P.C.H. from Malibu and almost drove by. The restaurant has a very modest exterior appearance, do not let this put you off and if in any doubt just check out some of the fine cars in the parking lot. Parking is FREE; very unusual for this area.
There was a small line of customers when we arrived. You order your choice of fish from a couple of blackboards and then select your cooking preference.
The fish on display is real fresh. Fantastic cuts and fillets.
We went with sea bass and mahi-mahi. The meal includes sides, we opted for salad, fries and coleslaw. A small carafe of lovely Chablis was a very reasonable $6.

All in all a very good reasonably cost lunch.
