a 'hidden' gem. Spectacular little bay - roads with sweeping vistas of Central Coastline. A favorite haunt and love to take visitors!

“Off the beaten track”

Great tides pool to explore and some very nice walking trails to enjoy. Not many people venture here so no crowds but well worth the trip.

“Tide pools, Beaches, Surfing and Scenic Views”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

Our "must do" in the area. Montana de Oro is one of top tide pool areas that I have ever found. Starfish, crabs, sea anemone, shells, and massive sand dunes! Our family loves this place!

“Great ocean views”
Reviewed January 1, 2012

The wind and waves were really kicking up and the hike up the Bluff trail to the ocean was great. Saw birds and great ocean sprays. Next time, will explore the "Stonehedge rocks" at Disney Point.
