This is by far the most authentic Californiaesque cuisine in the Los Olivos wine region that we have found. It was featured in the likewise California culture statement film "Sideways." It is a great way to end your day after the Foxen Canyon self-hosted wine tour. The restaurant offers its own selection of wine tasting flights that are a great accompaniment to California-Tuscany style foods such as butternut squash ans spinach gnoci, nine types of marinated olives, Orecchiette chicken sausage, Pappardelle Bolognese San Luis natural beef, and Morro Bay black cod. The staff are happy, helpful and non-overbearing. There is a full bar in case you forgot to make reservations which is highly advised.
