“A Must Stop!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

While driving around and visiting a couple wineries, it was time to eat. I went on Trip Advisor and found this restaurant so we tried it! What a pleasant surprise to find the wonderful food at this cafe and wine shop! They make the best tasting bread-dipping olive oil with herbs I have ever had and they sell it there too! The food you receive is the type you would expect in a boutique restaurant. They also have a nice supply of wines for sale in the shop.

“CA cuisine at its best.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

We had friendly, attentive service and enjoyed everything we ordered. Portions were hearty. We had the burger, Tuscan chicken, mushroom ravioli and pappardelle Bolognese. Would order any of these again. Same for the berry rhubarb crisp and affogato. Charming little stop in CA wine country.

“So-so experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

Though the menu looks delicious, not all the food was executed well, and our service was sub par. With prices this high I would expect great service and consistently good food. The gnocchi was delicious, as was the roasted vegetable appetizer, but the fish special I ordered was dry and flavorless. I politely mentioned this to our aloof waitress and she apologized but that was it. The other staff members we saw and encountered were very friendly and seemed attentive, so perhaps this was a one-time bad experience, but I'm not sure I would try this place again.

“One of My Favorite Places Anywhere, Ever.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

This review was written after my third or fourth visit - I'm not sure which, wine does funny things to memory. Every visit has been a positive experience, each time exceeding the last in terms of quality. The service has always been exceptional. Everyone who works here that I have interacted with has not only been knowledgeable about wine, but also in love with wine and happy to share that love with the customer. There's not much I can say to add to what has already been said in other reviews. The wines and the food are exceptional. Try the dipping sauce (olive oil and herbs). If you're lucky your server will tell you the recipe, which ours did.

“Yummy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

A friend recommended this restaurant, so I stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. I love lamb shank and read reviews of how tender it is here and could not wait to try it. Then I was disappointed to find out lamb shank is only on the dinner menu. The lunch menu is also fairly limited. However, everything we got was so yummy! We got the Brie, buttermilk wings, cream of cauliflower soup, brisket sandwich, and flour less chocolate cake ala mode. The servers worked as a team well and were extremely attentive. I cannot wait to come back!

There is also a huge selection of wine if that's what you like. This restaurant is surrounded by many places that offer wine tasting.
