Opa is a casual Greek restaurant that doubles as a sports bar. As a result, there's a bit more emphasis on quantity over quality.

That said. Opa offers tasty, shareable appetizers with pita bread, makes good fries (which come with feta cheese sprinkled in top) and the Greek salads are always fresh. Some of the dishes are on the heavy side (eg the moussaka). The best option if you want a lighter meal would be the Opa sauté which comprises a skewer of grilled vegetables plus a skewer of souvlaki (we recommend the lamb).

Quality of bar drinks is average. A serving of sangria proved very generous, a margarita was ho hum, and there was no stemmed glass available to drink a martini (who takes a martini out of a tumbler?).

It's a shame that the restaurant has a sound echo problem. They have not done much to deal with the acoustics. I find the Mediterranean menu to be tasty but am forced to get take-out because I loose my voice trying to have dinner conversation over the loud sound. If you go in the summer take the table closest to the screened front.

Love Greek food and loved Opa but the quality has diminished significantly in the last year. The staff is still good and friendly but the restaurant lately seems to be filled with fruit flies (particularly at the bar) and the food quality is definitely not what it used to be. I don't know what has changed but for a place that I visit regularly the quality seems to be dropping and the prices increasing.

Am going to have to be finding another lunch place in LG.

Lamb skewers were pretty good. Overall atmosphere is a bit rushed. Service not dedicated but ok. All in all you get what you pay for here and that is acceptable.

We came for a birthday party lunch/brunch. Our table started with pita bread and 3 dips (tzatziki, fiery feta and kalamata olive), all were tasty and nicely spiced. For brunch, our group had the french toast, scrambles and chicken souvlaki. Everyone was happy with their selection, my chicken was moist, perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The Greek salad was very good. This was our first time here, we'd definitely come back again.
