“Excellent Athmosphere with Great Food”
Reviewed February 4, 2012

Visited this restaurant with a colleague, who knew it from his past experience, and was pleasantly surprised. Despite the fact, that it was on Friday night and the restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes to get a table and being served. The waiter was very helpful and efficient, recommending us dishes to choose - these were great choises after all !
The food was delitious - real California fusion kitchen - excellent combination of tastes, generous (but not too big !) portions, very nicely presented.
The restaurant setting (decor, tables, seats, dishes) is in a nice way special as well, which creates overall great athmosphere.

Enjoied it a lot !

“Tasty small plates, swell wine list but no St. Michael's cocktail?”
Reviewed January 25, 2012

Stopped into this swank little spot in downtown Los Gatos for some delectable appetizers, a cocktail and a glass of wine. Everything was lovely except I missed the St. Michael's on the cocktail menu. Hope the saintly Mike will make a return soon--maybe spring?

“A young Chef to watch....”
Reviewed January 12, 2012

Cin Cin has become a personal favorite in the two years I've lived in Los Gatos. As their chef has become more skilled he adds his unique creativity to the menu and he is one to watch out for - truly talented. The bar scene here is lively and fun but it has now become a really great spot for dinner as well. This one will only get better - good value as well.

“Great Local Restaurant”
Reviewed December 19, 2011

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Los Gatos. The food is really fun and often unusual and they feature great wines from around the world. The staff is very friendly. There are some good deals at happy hour.
They change the menu a lot, which is great as you can try new things, but sad when a killer dish goes away (like the branzino, the salmon or the beets with horseradish). One favorite is the bacon and egg salad (with a tempura soft boiled egg on top). This is a hardy salad, enough for a light dinner or to share as an appetizer. Crispy frize (sp?) lettuce is topped with crispy bits of smokey bacon, sliced mushrooms and potatoes. Another great starter is the flatbread with caramelized onions, ham and reduced balsamic. Anything with their charred guacamole is great. Right now there is a killer duck confit with spaetzl on the menu.
Not all dishes are perfect so it is best to order a variety to share. We had the smoked salmon the other night and it was too fishy and the calamari is just OK.
The downside is it can be really noisy and the dishes can be heavy, but we always go away happy. Consistently one of Los Gatos best restaurants.

The food was delectable...Korean tacos, arancini, and the best short ribs I ever ate! Service by our waiter, Jared, was perfect. He is knowledgeable and very pleasant, and we loved how he and the staff all work together. Everyone is treated with great care....this is an excellent restaurant...well trained and congenial staff....fabulous food and wine. We cannot wait to return for another visit.
