Description: Three Degrees Restaurant, Bar and Patio belongs on any short list of the best of Los Gatos. The name reflects the welcoming charm of our small-town community, while the menu reflects the best in locally sourced, farm-fresh produce. Drawing inspiration from the slow-food movement, our executive chef creates dishes focusing on straightforward contemporary grill cuisine.

“Pretty decent place in a town of pretty decent places.”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

WE actually had a function at the hotel and the food was supplied by the three degrees kitchen.
THe restaurant itself was 2 ballrooms away from us and we had to go to it for drinks. The place is cozy and the bar area is decent.

The drinks however are pricey running about $ dollars each unless you hit happy hour. However the bartenders are knowledgeable and mix well!.

The food is quite good, our fucntion had appetizers, and a main course - buffet style. Typically on a buffet you get dried out meats covered in some kind of gravy to make them palatable. etc. Not so here. The turkey was moist, the pork chops- sliced thin and still juicy. All the vegetables were "full flavored" but not enhanced. By that I mean it seems like the chef actually brought out the flavors of the foods without covering them up with chemicals like msg for example. The only way to do this is proper preparation, including proper use of spices at the right time of cooking.

So this place passes muster but has its job cut out for it slugging it out in food central Los Gatos. I think it will probably thrive if people remember that it is a good restaurant in the middle of a hotel! One real plus is that the hotel is just a block or so outside the main thoroughfare which means that parking is a snap!

I p[plan on going back to just for the restaurant based on the food they prepared for the event we held there.

“Convenient for guests”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Since we were tired from our drive, we ate at the same hotel in which we were staying. It turned out to be a good choice. It was not crowded on Sunday night, and we found everything we needed and wanted on the menu. The serving staff was efficient and friendly, and the cost very reasonable.

This place was very yummy. I got the Rotisserie chicken for dinner and the smoked salmon plate for breakfast. I ate every last bite of both!

“Great little bar area”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

The location of the bar is very convenient and it appears that there are local people who go there regularly. A man at the bar said it was like "Cheers" as everyone is friendly and the staff make an effort to make visitors feel comfortable. The tall beautiful bartender had some great suggestions for wine and was right on making sure your glass didn't get empty. It was great!
