“OUTSTANDING FOOD and AMBIENCE”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Our grandchildren had choc chip pancakes, pastries and gormet coffee drinks. My husband and I have sworn off carbs, so drank delicious coffee and lusted after all their meals! My son said his pastry was magnificent!!! A very special place indeed!

“Fresh & delicious garden setting”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

The menu is huge and packed with all kinds of breakfast and lunch options. My daughter had the breakfast tacos and I had a wrap sandwich - both were outstanding. The coffee served was top notch and efficiency of the staff made the wait tolerable. You order your food first, then take a number and find a seat. The restaurant has many rooms and outside dining area, though you may have to wait to claim a table. Once you do and your food is served - sit back, relax and enjoy some of the freshest ingredients.

“Mediocre food and service”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Pricey and mediocre food in a great setting. Very expensive for what you are offered with service that is way below grade. Owners have decided to tag an additional 15% service fee to all meals which is a ripoff if I have ever seen one. When I inquired about this service fee, thinking it was built in gratuity, I was told that it goes to owners not to waiters. So they expect an additional $15% service fee plus an additional 15% gratuity = 30% !!!! I will not be visiting this eatery until they change this policy. Also found out that employees (waiters) have filed a class action lawsuit because they were not being paid minimum wage or paid for overtime or given lunch breaks. apparently they were only given their tips as wages. I was also informed that some employees did not get paid for work time after quitting. Sounds like the owners should not be in business period.

“Broad Israeli/CA menu, inattentive service”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

The menu is impressive - everything looks delicious. Most things are: hummus, pita, fallafel, various tuna/salmon dishes. Lots of fusion going on with asian and mexican flavors mixing in with the burekas and other Israeli fare. Their lemonade+mint drinks are excellent. Service is somewhat lacking - most are kids with little training. Sometimes there appears to be little adult supervision. The outdoor patio dining has a charged atmosphere with many Israeli ex-pats and locals in animated conversation. Fun place to eat with friends and family.
