I have been a regular visitor to this hotel for the past 2 years. I had an excellent stay at Hotel Angeleno (near Sunset Blvd/I-405) and enjoyed superior customer service. The hotel is very prompt in addressing any issues quickly and promptly.

If You are JDV member, there's always a bottle of wine waiting in your room. Hotel Prices are reasonable. They have a great restaurant on the 17th floor with panaromic views of the city.

Special thanks to Lesly, Tiffanie and entire staff !!

I stayed at Hotel Angeleno Father's Day weekend June 2011. The hotel is quite stylish and clean. The service was very good. Unfortunately the noise level is through the roof. I requested a high floor opposite the 405 freeway. I did receive a room on the tenth floor and somewhat away from the 405 but still heard the traffic noise. Once you open your balcony door all you hear is the rush of traffic and its constant. The pool area is very nice and so is fthe fitness center. You definitely need a car to get around. If you don't mind the noise or having to travel to popular spots then this hotel is a keeper.

Stayed here on May 18, 2011 when we cut short our plans to stay two nights at another LA-area hotel that fell way below our expectations. We chose this hotel because we are “Joy of Life Club” members and we knew a Joie de Vivre experience would not disappoint. Our stay at Hotel Angeleno was the perfect antidote for the awful experience of the previous night. The front desk staff quickly checked us in and sent us on our way, up to our rooms on the 15th floor. While the sound of traffic from the adjacent 405 freeway was practically deafening from the balcony, the room was peacefully quiet. It was also well-pointed with a fully-stocked mini-bar (never used but always nice to have), flat-screen TV, work station, and a supremely comfortable king-size bed. We capped off our stay with dinner at West Restaurant and Lounge, located on the hotel’s penthouse level (with breathtaking panoramic views.) The outstanding entrees (spaghetti and meatball, cioppino, and petit filet) and impeccable service exceeded our expectations for a “hotel restaurant”.

We checked out the next morning and made our way to an iconic Beverly Hills hotel to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. Upon our arrival we noticed that our laptop was missing. I called the Hotel Angeleno on the off-chance that we left it behind and were delighted when the housekeeping staff asked us to describe the item before confirming that they found it precisely where we had left it that morning! Since we were settled in to our new accommodations, we asked if they would be willing to secure our laptop until the next day when we were planning to head out of town. Without hesitation, they agreed.

The hotel’s exceptional customer service is just one of the many reasons we highly recommend the Hotel Angeleno. We will definitely stay again!

I stayed at this hotel for six days (it was my second time there) and didn't want to leave. It has a smart and contemporary design, and the circular arrangement of the building makes for an interesting layout. The beds are divinely comfortable and the bathrooms are well-stocked with spa-style bath products. The pool area is lovely by day (or by night), and there is a fine restaurant and bar (with live music some nights) on the top floor. The view of Bel Air, Brentwood, and the stream of lights on the 405 is awesome at night. Parking was free during my stay, which made this hotel a good value for the L.A. area. Be aware that the hotel is right off the 405, so if you're concerned about highway noise, bring ear plugs . . . I wasn't bothered by it. It's true that the hotel is not in the midst of concentrated attractions, but you are well-poised here to head in any direction you choose, whether it's Beverly Hills/Hollywood or Santa Monica. Of special note is the proximity of the fabulous Getty Center, which you can reach with the assistance of the free hotel shuttle. My only regret is that the hotel is no longer lit up at night by the beautiful blue lights that made it such a stunner, but I understand that was quashed by neighbors bothered by the bright display. Nonetheless, still a lovely hotel.

We stayed just one night prior to visiting the Getty Center. The hotel is relatively inexpensive for this part of the LA area and it is about a mile from the Getty. Our room on the 14th floor faced the freeway, but we were not bothered by noise, and it was kind of fun to watch the rush hour traffic while sipping our red wine amenity. The restaurant West was very pleasant for dinner, and breakfast there was good.

Room Tip: book a high floor
