“Great property and great staff”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

We stayed here for one night using Marriott Rewards points. Was able to secure last minute reservation using points with a phone call to Mauricio, an excellent front desk agent. He upgraded us based on my status to the two bedroom suite, which served our family's needs perfectly. Building and rooms are fresh and bright, with cheerful and courteous staff everywhere. Complimentary breakfast was made-to-order omelets along with many other hot and cold offerings. Breakfast staff did an exceptional job keeping tables clean and food stocked, even during the very busy time.

Valet parking at $27 plus tax was not inexpensive, but it was worth it given our overall terrific stay.

I stayed her with my wife and teenage son this weekend. It was outstanding in every way. The location is great, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast good . . . But I must highlight the service, which was excellent from start to finish. In particular, I would like to thank Mauricio, who was at the front desk when we checked in. The hotel was busy and there was a problem getting the type of room we had booked. It had the potential to be an unpleasant experience, and my initial attitude was not good. But Mauricio resolved the situation gracefully and with a very high degree of professionalism. The service he provided (and other staff as well) was at the highest standard.

When in LA , this is an excellent property. The front desk was first class, we had an issue with the room and not only did they take care of it, they went beyond our expectations. Wonderful location and the staff are what is going to bring us back to the RIBH.
Thanks again for a great stay,
Tom and Stella McDermott

Stayed at the Residence Inn Beverly Hills with my husband and 14 year old son for 6 days in January this year. We had a lovely suite with a queen bed in a separate room and the puul out sofabed in the lounge on the 7th floor, plenty of room. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of the staff before we had even got out of our car. He immediately assisted us with our baggage of which was a lot. We used the valet parking as it was very convenient, every day we just let them know and our car was there before we got down to the lobby. The staff looking after our car were always pleasant and friendly. The staff at reception were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, polite and alway willing to help with any queries we had about either where to eat or what was close to go and explore.

The breakfast every morning was wonderful, plenty of choice from hot oatmeal, waffles, eggs, bacon etc and of course the great omelette bar where a wonderful lady made the best omelettes. Staff always kept the tables clean and tidy and were there to assist if needed. I did witness one morning there was a man in a wheelchair, the staff did not waste anytime in removing a chair from a table near us for him, they then assisted him in getting his breakfast and also bringing him his coffee to the table. This is not seen in many hotels.

The hotel is close to a supermarket (all rooms have a kitchen with full cooking faciities) and a full size fridge not usually found in a hotel room. Plenty of eating places close by. The Famous Deli is great if you want a home style cooked meal and they deliver to your room as well.

Also a 10 minute stroll down to Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevarde if you want to do some shopping. Also a 20 minute drive along Pico Boulevarde down to the centre of LA. Plenty of public transport goes by also.

The hotel also has a fully equipped laundry, exercise room and spa which is great for people who have been travelling for a while.

Another thing is it is really nice when you leave the hotel you are always acknowledged by the staff and it is really nice when you return the staff always welcome you back and ask if you had a good day.

All up we certainly will stay here again when we visit LA again and we would certainly advise anyone considering staying here to do yourself a favour and book now you won't be sorry.

Oh and by the way we left on a Saturday morning and flew home to Australia that night and when we got home turned on our computer there was an email from the staff thanking us for staying there and hoped that we had enjoyed our stay. We thought that this was a really nice touch.

Thank you to the staff of Residence Inn Beverly Hills you made our last week in the USA a week to remember.

Room Tip: High room is good although I think any room on any floor in this hotel would be good as there is no...

Stayed at The Residence Inn Beverly Hills with my 18 and 21 yo children. We had a king bed and a pull out couch which worked for us. The room was clean, bed a little hard. Only complaint was the toiletries were very skimpy. My daughter has long hair and one bottle of shampoo was just enough for her. If you ask for extra at the front desk, they will give you more. Parking is pricey, 27/day. Good location but you have to walk about 10 min to get to shops/restaurants. Breakfast was good and helped with expenses. Would stay here again!

Stayed here and found this lil hotel to be close to everything Beverly Hills. Like the breakfast area and rooms are nice. Hotel is old but remodeled nicely. Rooms are a bit pricey and parking is very expensive and you really don't have much choice on parking anywhere else.

Room Tip: Paying for Marriott name for this near Beverly Hills location.. Nice hotel but lacks amenities you w...

Large living room but very small bedroom with little space to walk around the bed and the door (leading to the living room) would only open half way before hitting the bed. Bathroom was small with closet right behind the sink making it hard for someone else to be in that area at the same time. The kitchen was very nice with all the amenities needed. We found the bed to be too firm for our liking but there was little to no noise from other rooms either above or below. Breakfast was ordinary and very crowded as there are seven floors of rooms. Parking is extra and there are always lots of taxes added on to your bill. Pretty expensive for two nights but then this is Beverly Hills.
