Very good staff, the room was comfortable and clean, however the wait for the airport shuttle was bad. Two busses passed us by because they were full. We live in Lancaster, and once the 405 traffic made us late to the airport, so now we stay at LAX hotels before we leave on trips.

Room Tip: This is a good place to stay and avoid the 405.

We live in LA but stayed here for 3 nights while our building was undergoing termite tenting. We needed a suite that would accept dogs so that's why we ended up here. I felt it was not very good value for the money (almost $200/night). The couches and chairs were stiff and uncomfortable and had holes and worn spots and stains on them. Our room was right by the elevator, and the elevator noise reminded me of living near the subway when I lived in NYC. It's pretty disruptive. The worst thing about the hotel was the wifi, which was about the speed of dial up (free but you get what you pay for I guess). It's nice that they allow dogs but having to walk dogs along century blvd with the only nearby grass being in a taco bell parking lot isn't very relaxing. I will say the breakfast bar was good and had good variety, although I wish it went til 10am instead of exactly 9am (they put everything away right at 9am sharp). I feel like hotels end breakfast at 9am just so they dont have to put out that much food, since many people on vacation would prefer to sleep in a bit. Also one of the elevators was undergoing repair so there were always waits for an elevator. It was also disappointing to have to pay for parking on top of the expensive room rate. I would also note that we got the suite to have some privacy between us in the bedroom and our teenage daughter who stayed in the living room, but the bedroom door had a large glass pane down the middle, so it wasn't private at all. In the bedroom, there was an outlet by one bedside table but not the other so that's inconvenient if you need to plug in a phone charger, medical device etc. I responded to the survey they emailed me with with my concerns but nobody replied to me. I have had much better La Quinta experiences in other cities.

convenient location for us....super helpful staff....water pressure not the greatest in the shower but that may be cause it was on the 3rd floor....menu needs updating to give more of a variety espedially with the competition around them...

We enjoyed our stay at la quinta. The room was clean . The kids enjoyed the rooftop pool. The breakfast was okay...not much variety and the choices were the same all the days we stayed.
The only drawback was that the "smoking" rooms are on the third floor we stayed on the seventh and the smell comes through the ventilation so that was very unpleasant. So keep that in mind.

All in all its a good hotel.

The price was good, the idea of I could leave my car for 8 days was good, the in house restaurant is OK. The staff was good and the free shuttle to lax was on time.

The property itself was not good. It was the kind of place you did not feel safe, I was never confronted by a strange person, but it was just looked dingy and dirty.

I would not come back to this hotel.

We were in the LA area for a few days and decided to stay close to the airport. It was great did not hear any airplanes coming or going! Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed with my kids for one night, we changed the room one time and was too tired to change the room a second time. Both rooms had hair in the bathroom... in different places.
The receptionist and staff tried to help out and discounted the parking, that's why I'm actually improving the original rating, but the place was dirty.
