“A great place to say”

This was the second (and third) time we stayed in this hotel. We actually stayed here twice earlier this month. The first time we stayed we had a nice big room with a small sofa. The second time we stayed we had a little smaller room with a big chair. Either way, the rooms were big and very nice. The best part of this hotel are the valets and the bellman. They are nice, helpful, and funny. Also, the restaurant for breakfast is nice. The service is very nice. And they have a good deal on the kids' buffet. There is also a bar which has a small outside patio which we enjoyed sitting out on one night. The only thing that is not quite up to par is the front desk. The woman who checked us in the first time was rude and they were not on top of getting us a taxi to the airport. But is all worked out. Make sure to check out some of the packages. We were able to get as package with valet parking and internet for less additional money than just the valet would have cost us each night.

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your stay with us. We are thrilled to know that you enjoyed our guest rooms and the food and service in our restaurant.

Our sincere apologies for the less than satisfactory interaction with our front desk team member. We will certainly address and ensure that we do not have incidences like this again.

Thank you once again for recommending us to your friends and family and we look forward to your arrival soon.

By all accounts this hotel is due for a renovations soon so if you are booked to stay there shortly, just be aware that it's a bit outdated but you cannot beat the location and how comfortable the beds are. The service is top notch. Loved the restaurant for breakfast and highly recommend the executive floor. The hotel is located very convenient to the 101 Freeway and the West Valley (lots of restaurants and shopping). Value-wise you can't go wrong.

Room Tip: Executive Floor

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Hilton for our very first trip to Los Angeles. I've always had a good experience with Hilton so I liked that the price was perfect for a 3 night stay. I wish I had looked at their amenities better because I thought this hotel had a pool but sadly it did not (business hotel). I loved the 24 hour access to the gym though. I also wish they had offered a free breakfast buffet (as some of their other Hilton Locations have in the past) at least for one day out of the four we were there but they had an all you can eat buffet for $15.00 which isn't bad when you consider what you got. I loved the room and overall I would say it was a nice stay. I doubt I would stay here again though unless I happened to be in the Woodland Hills section again. Oh one last note I loved how they offered free shuttle service for up to 2 miles. That was pretty nice.

Room Tip: All of the rooms were good from what I could see.

Was here for one night on business... was what I needed. Close to where I needed to be, breakfast in the morning was filling and good, and I liked that I didn't feel like I was in LA. The views of the mountains was quite nice. I ate dinner near by and there are lots of very good restaurant choices near by. The room was nice and large. The hotel could use a slight modernizing as the some of the decor had a 90's feel. (Gold rimmed closet doors etc.)

Nothing to complain about. I was here to sleep and move on and this hotel did that just perfect.

(Don't stay here if you're a tourist in the LA area. You're too far from those things.)

We had booked this place for few days and after arrival extended our stay, the rooms are very clean, staff are extra helpful and the hotel is close to all amenities. All our needs were accommodated and extending our stay and billing was done very easily. Staff were very polite and informed.

This property is so tired it must just barely be clinging to the Hilton name. The rooms are good-sized but the oak furniture is so dated, the lamps are ancient, the closets are an afterthought. The bathrooms are typical Motel 8 - functioning toilet, old standard tub, single sink. And we thought the bed was uncomfortably firm. The air conditioning works well though noisily from behind the desk. All in all, this was a nice hotel in 1975 but today it is just plain old.

The folks who work here could not be nicer or work harder. There are too few of them. Hallways have food trays left in them for hours. The coffee shop workers hustle and are very kind while doing it.

Look - if you are trying to save $ and have a full hotel experience near Woodland Hills - this is a fine choice. If you want some luxury - modern furnishings, thick towels and sheets, a minibar in your room - this isn't it. I would liken this Hilton to a Comfort Inn in the sky. So surprised the Hilton folks let this go on in this state.

Oh - and parking is a pain. $17 per day to self park in this garage behind the hotel. Be careful pulling a U Turn in front of the hotel as cops were waiting. Another dopey zoning problem that could be addressed.

Finally - this hotel is not convenient to LAX, BUR, Disney, Malibu or the like. It is convenient to the valley and its stores and aging neighborhoods.

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms have a better view of the neighborhood and hills. Even numbers look into an offic...

I chose this hotel because I preferred a quiet neighborhood. But you must rent a car to get around. It took me 45 minutes driving from LAX to the hotel. Universal Studios is at least 30 minutes drive. Hollywood Blvd is 40 minutes. Santa Monica Pier is about 40-50 minutes drive. I didn't go to Disney, but I think at least an hour drive is inevitable.
The Westfield Mall is just a short 5 minutes drive from the hotel, so you can satisfy your shopping needs conveniently.
However, the hotel does feels old and really due for a complete renovation. But because I stayed for 5 nights, Hilton has a special package which makes staying there economically reasonable despite the long drive.

Good Morning,

Thank you for allowing us to be your host while in Los Angeles area. We agree that our hotel is within 30 minutes driving distance from few of the Los Angeles area destinations, also we are only 15-20 minutes away from the beaches of Malibu and right next to one of the best shopping mall in Southern California.

We truly appreciate you recommending us to your friends and family.

Warm wishes,
Deepak
