“Still great, but gone down a litle”

The food is not as good as a few years ago, and the price went up too, but... It's still excellent and I would recommend it

“Super”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2011

Great service and food. My friend and I were seated at the bar and it's a whole new experience when you can get a bar seat. It's the best tasting shabu-shabu I have had so far. We did not go for the wagyu but the regular beef was just as good. I recommend the banana cream and the apple crisp for the dessert!

Shabu Shabu like no other. I never even had anything like Kagaya in Tokyo. Every course finishes off with a zosui (rice porridge) made from the left-over broth of the shabu-shabu. It is simply amazing. And reasonably priced too! Highly recommended. Make sure to make reservations pretty far in advance.
