Drinks are overpriced! A large costs $5 and is more like a small. Furthermore, most of the drink is foam. If I wanted foam I would have ordered a cup of foam. In addition, there is
NO PARKING. There is a tiny lot around the corner but of course they do not validate. If you are lucky and you find street parking you better be careful and read the street signs because street parking is only for residents.

Coffee, it's a simple food, yet so often it is utterly destroyed and made undrinkable. Not so at Intelligentsia. Seems like the boys and girls here can actually make a decent latte or espresso. In fact, these folk can proudly call themselves baristas.

Don't let the queues or the painfully hip crowd put you off. Seems Intelligentsia is the place to be seen in Silver Lake and luckily you can get the best coffee in L.A. at the same time. The almond croissant is also pretty good.

The cafe seems to go all day serving pastries and coffees only (6am - 8pm Sunday - Wednesday and 6am - 11pm Thursday - Saturday).

it does have great coffee and artfully done, but it's also this beacon of gentrification like yuppie with a hipster sheen- like it should be in brentwood not silverlake- I rather go to the casbah

Really really good coffee. The new Cafe de Leche at Ave 50 & York also sells Intelligentsia.
