Founded in 1910, this place has several locations in LA and even in Honolulu. This location in the Japanese Village Mall was recently renovated to give more prominent space to Italian gelato, but the highlight remains the Japanese confections (wagashi) and pastries, including mochi and other red bean paste-based items. The also have a more modern confection: mochi-wrapped ice cream. This is a great place to stop at after you've had a Japanese meal at one of the many other good locations in Little Tokyo.
