They provided awesome service. We made a mistake at room booking. Somehow, we still had them in our record. After realized we made the reservation with another hotel. They managed to get us there. Without the help from hotel manager, we could be lost in LA. Thank you for your great service.
Close to the airport, comfortable and the food was good. The coffee shop had a great lemon muffin, try one. The room was standard Holiday Inn, clean and comfy. I would stay there again for sure. The staff were very friendly and courteous also.
This Holiday Inn Express is much better than what you'd expect in a Holiday Inn Express. The staff is very competent and friendly. The included breakfast is far better than most similarly priced properties. Internet is free and so is parking in their convenient garage located on the premises. It's not far from LAX, has a shuttle, but you never hear any flight noise. Rates are slightly higher than nearby Hol Inns and Hampton Inns but so is their star rating and reviews. Beds are great. Overall quality is very high and well worth it. OK one quibble - the elevators could be a little faster.
Stayed here for two nights, great location ideal for airport transfer, close to Playa Del Ray Beach. Lovely room staff very friendly and accommodating free parking also. Quiet rooms with all the amienites required on site.
For the money I paid, I would have expected a shuttle to take me from the airport. We waited for 30 minutes and ended hopping on the Holiday Inn shuttle, but the other one. Thankfully the nice lady driver took us to the HI Express, but if it were up to the hotel, we would still be waiting for the shuttle. Nowhere it said if we had to wait, where, or if we had to call.
The room was OK and with a nice bed, and with a very good blinds system that I had not seen anywhere else, and that can actually block 95% of the outside light or give enough privacy and still allow natural light.
But if even though breakfast food was not bad, the fact that they use cardboard plates (and very rough ones) and plastic cutlery, is disappointing. If I would like that kind of stuff I would go to McDonalds for breakfast.
