It's an older hotel, but it is immaculately kept. The elevators take some getting used to as far as where you are going and it's a bit odd that they don't stop on floors 2,4, or 6 where the shopping and fast foods are.

However, who cares about fast food when the restaurants are awesome and the central lounge is just as good as the marquee restaurants up top.

The staff are fabulous and very helpful. Room service is excellent. No problem getting a late checkout even though the place was packed during the Dodgers vs Yankees weekend.

If you are looking to stay downtown to visit USC, watch the Lakers, Kings, or Dodgers, would recommend this place for anyone, even families.

Room tip: Pick a room furthest away from elevators. Sometimes you hear them early in the morning and they can wake you.

This was by far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The views were incredible, the location was perfect for what we needed it for. MUCH nicer than most other hotels in the area and just 2 years old. Beautiful hotel

Very nice room and as a great fan of true lies was fun to be in the elevator.however I have never been in a more confusing hotel with multiple levels with not every elevator going to every floor; separate towers with different staircases etc. this hotel felt like an Escher drawing and outside wasn’t better, crazy stairs again multi level weird 1980s architectural city planning throw back.

Room was nice with always good Westin bed but bar expensive and pool was very disappointing for la...full of kids,no service and restaurant/bar near pool did not open until 4 even on weekend. What??? I have to think that there are better choices in downtown la that are more up to date, less confusing and with better amenities despite this joint’s historical past.

I've been here many times . Great location, not far from the airport. Very quiet at night, very good breakfast in the morning. Many shops and restaurants nearby, I would definitely recommend it for a short stay in L.A. Looking forward to come back. Everyone at concierge and front desk friendly.

Stayed at the Westin Bonaventure for two nights in May 2019 on a family trip. We booked two rooms and the hotel was able to accommodate adjoining rooms with two double beds each when we reached out prior to our stay. This was an overall decent stay although the area wasn't especially convenient to downtown LA attractions and eateries and required a walk. Biggest issue was long waits at reception and bell desk due to insufficient staff. Long lines at check in and check out. Had to roll three suitcases on my own down an escalator and an elevator because the bell desk was not manned. Not the best start to a stay!
