Stayed here for 1 night as we were off to a basketball game. Hotel was a little pricey but it was worth the money to be so close to the Staples Center especially as we were travelling with an infant. Parking was also an extra charge but wi-fi was complimentary which is not very common in USA. We did ask for a fridge in our room as the mini bar fridge is a weighted automatic system so could not add anything into it. We needed to keep some baby food cold but was going to be charged $20 for the fridge so when I told the front desk staff not to worry about it, she offered it to us complimentary. Rooms and hotel was up to a 5 star standard, the little extras in the room and bathroom were amazing, defitnitely worth more than a 3 star rating. Would base myself here for longer, although the cost of the car parking would get a bit costly. Would stay again

We stayed here when we had an event at the Grammy Museum, which is directly across the street from the hotel. The Luxe rooms have all recently been renovated and are chic and sophisticated, but very comfortable. All of the amenities are included; e.g., slippers, robes, etc. The problem with LA Live is that all of the restaurants close between 9 - 10 pm, but the second
floor bar/lounge, including a great outdoor patio, serves light food and beverages until past midnight. The perfect place to go after an event at the Grammy Museum or Staples Center. Have nothing negative to say about this hotel and will definitely stay there every time we have af event downtown.

We live in L.A. and yet when we're downtown, we feel like we have travelled to some faraway place. Living in the suburbs of Los Angeles is a completely different experience when living Downtown. There are so many wonderful, cool places to eat in the new Arts District by Little Tokyo, walking around the Nokia Live area across the street from The Luxe, having a Mai Tai at Trader Vics, seeing a movie all the while never having to drive. The hotel is so lovely, clean and visually pleasing in every way. And did I mention the amazing beds and linens? A fun, reasonable and romantic overnight stay.

Room Tip: Ask for your room to face the Nokia Live

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a business holiday party. Directly across the street from the Grammy Museum and LA Live. The staff was very accommodating. They were constantly giving you bottles of water. Rooms were very nice and the bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was that there is no refrigerator -- only the honor bar, if you move something you've paid for it. I would have liked to have been able to put my water inside. Perfect location for an event at Staples Center, across from Flemmings and around the corner from Trader Vic's. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I stayed on Dec. 3 for our anniversary after attending the Aerosmith concert at Staples Center. The hotel is in great shape and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms seem to be freshly remodeled and they have a very sophisticated feel to them. The shower was great. The valet brought in our bags and gave us some much needed information on the surrounding area. When we left, he also gave me very good directions to the freeway we needed to get home. The staff in the hotel greated us warmly when we passed and they seemed to really care how we were doing. Very nice time.
