Staff: Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by Christian within the first six seconds. That was the start of their excellent customer service. He even addressed my name passing by from time to time. Not sure if that's a perk for being a HHonors member, but made me feel welcomed. Jessica was also another great employee. A friend came to pick me up and her car battery died. Jessica offered to jump my friend's battery and saved our night into town.

Standard King Room: Very clean and spacious layout with high ceilings. Microwave and Refrigerator with bar is nicely situated by the entrance and will come in handy for those that take leftovers back from dinner. Bathroom was standard. Although, I would prefer the sink not separated from the shower. It does however, create a more spacious feel to the room.

Parking: Very limited. The hotel was booked solid my last night and was forced to park along a curb. Felt sorry for those that were circling and waiting for a spot to open. They did however offered to valet, according to another guest.

Location: The hotel is nicely located near major freeways and noise was not an issue.

Breakfast: Average at best, but it's better than nothing and FREE. So, don't expect a cook to order omelette.

Overall my stay was very pleasant and again, the staff (Chistian and Jessica) made my stay more enjoyable.

Our visit was wonderful after a busy day in LA. All accommodations were good. The am breakfast was average for Hampton. The heated swimming pool was great . The only negative issue is the location on a busy,noisy street.

Thank you for your feedback. This past week we ordered some earplugs to have incase they are needed. We now have them placed in every room that is facing the street side. Plus, they are available upon request. We thank you again and we hope you have a great weekend

Gracious front desk, easy to find, close to Getty. Softest towels I have ever encountered in a hotel. I was on street side and the road was very busy so there was traffic noise most of the night, though it wasn't horrible.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to everything in Los Angeles. Even though in the valley you can't beat the price and its really clean. Close to Target too if you need anything and great breakfast. Ask for back room away from street minimize noise although really quiet.

We stay here whenever we go to LA.
They always make you feel welcome. Great bedding and wonderful breakfast.
They have an indoor pool and cookies in the lobby.
Only downside is parking is at a premium, but I understand they are working on adding some more.

I stayed here since my company Christmas party was at the Skirball. It is about a $17 - $20 cab fare to Skirball. Check in was fast and effiecient however, it was also a breach of security, "ok Mr surname, your room number is XXX!" Having majored in hotel management that is the one thing you do not do is announce the room number.
I had a King Study although I think I got a regular king room 428. The bedding was very comfortable. I was suprised a business hotel did not have stationary in the room. If you turned all they lights on in the room it looked like a checkerboard. Some lights were garish white others had a yellowish tint to them. Bathroom was nice and roomy. The sink is outside the bathroom.
I loaded the car up in the 5 AM hour. Do not make the mistake of doing that. You can get out the front doors but cannot get back in. I had to pry the doors open to get back in as no one was covering reception.
Saturday afternoon about 4:30 I called down to the desk...twice and both time the phone rang 20 times and no answer. I finally had to physically go down stairs and talk to the desk since they refuese to answer the phone.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding our hotel. We apologize for the inconvenience that you had to encounter during your stay.

I would like to apologize on behalf of the hotel and its team for your stay. Our standard procedure at check in is to keep the room number secret for no one to hear for your protection. Also, I am certainly dissapointed that their was no one at the front desk early in the morning when you were not able to get in. We usually close the doors at night to keep the hotel safe. I will make sure to speak to the front desk agents to let them know that they need to be more careful and watchful during their shifts and that this also includes the phone switchboard because we do need to make sure that all calls are answered emmediatley.

Once again please do accept our apologies and I do hope that you will give us another chance in the future. We wish you the best wishes for the upcomming holidays.

I stayed at the Hampton inn last year when I came to LA. It was a great location and offered what any budget traveler needs in a very expensive city. Free breakfast and free parking. I was so pleased that I came back this year in November. No complaints this year either. Although the breakfast was lacking with choice and refills. Ok guess I am complaining. Either way the location is close to all of the attractions one would want to see. I have to agree the area is not the greatest but I was not going out for a power walk at 1am. Plus the staff was great and my boyfriend enjoyed the fitness room.
