Description: Aliki's Greek Taverna is a Greek Restaurant that specializes in authentic Greek food. It uses top quality ingredients such as the "Eliki" extra virgin olive oil, Greek feta cheese made from goat and sheep milk, organic tomatoes and other quality natural ingredients and the best meats available. At Aliki's you will also find the best sea food from Greece (tsipoula, lavraki, etc.) as well as a large variety of delicious cooked Greek meals such as Mousaka, Pastitsio, Lahanodolades, Greek pasta dishes and a large selection of Greek appetizers and other food products. The restaurant serves also amazing lamb dishes that are prepared to perfection. You can complement your meal with a Greek beer or a Greek wine; all at very reasonable prices.

Wonderful aroma as you enter, no ambiance, frenetic tense staff, heavenly oily residue from dishes begs mopping with really good pita, crisp on one side, soft and absorbent on the other. Octopus the best I've had, moussaka delicious, feta a surprised layer, fresh tomato just barely cooked as the underpinning, again that sensual oil. Becahmel only not memorable element. Well be.back to try the fish which they were out of.

Aliki's is a simple, down home Greek place right down the street from Budget and the Marriott Renaissance at LAX. It's been a perfect haven for us when we are arriving or leaving LAX and need a meal of good, real food. The owners are welcoming and the food, while not outstanding, is very good. Certainly lightyears better than anything you can find at the airport.

Also, if you arrive at LAX near rush hour and need to hit the freeways, stop here for a good meal and let the traffic die down.

I wish I could have eaten more! They have a great tasters menu for 6 appetizers. The dolmades, anchovies and spicy feta dip were completely awesome. For dinner I had the 4 lambchops, and had to take 3 home because I was so full. The tzatziki is great too. Can't wait to go back through LAX again and will leave time to stop in to this delightful "A" rated restaurant. My waiter was so helpful, warm and attentive; I felt like I was in a little Greek village.

Fantastic food!!! Everything I have had has been great. I now go there 3-4 times a week. It is a family owned place and everyone is so warm and friendly. You always feel welcomed to me that makes the atmosphere the best.

No really, If you eat outside - which we did coming from snowy Toronto into 20 C - the planes come every 2 min under 1,000 feet. The food was so good that we didn't mind! You;d be better off inside for a little less noise. Took a cab from the Sheraton Gateway - 1.5 km. as area east of the hotels are deserted parking lots.

Basic diner type atmosphere but again as other posts have indicated - authentic Greek right off the Danforth in Toronto.
