This is not the best theater around but it's defiantly unique and well worth the price of admission. It's a movie plus pre or post movie entertainment. The theater is also beautiful. When I was there last for Toy Story 3 they set up a good sized carnival behind the theater for you to run around after the movie. It was great. My only complaints are that seats are a bit close together and the speakers are not that great (they might have upgraded since my visit for the debut of Dolby Atmos surround with Brave)

Also head over to the Disney soda fountain for a delicious ice cream Sundae. Just a heads up, you will be paying Disney prices but it is very good.

Must See, Must Do!!!
We watched the movie "Brave" here this summer.
It was awesome! The theater is beautiful!
Also, we had a pleasant surprise when they presented us with a whole Disney production before the movie!! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck as well as all the princessses came out on stage to sing and dance for the audience!

Our family recently took a trip to California to see family and spend a couple days in San Diego. My 7 year old son wanted to see Hollywood. I was not thrilled with taking the family there but figured since we are going we should atleast do something constructive. We decided to go to the El Capitan and see "Brave". The historic theater is beautiful and currently going under rennovations. The biggest surprise was the live Disney opening prior to the Movie. Our kids loved seeing the characters in a musical production, the best was when the star of Brave came on stage, my daughter was thrilled. For a couple hours I forgot that I was in Hollywood and felt like we were in the middle of Disney World. For any Disney fans this is something you must do at some point in your life!
