Our first visit to this place was before a play--it was a great and pleasant surprise--the beet casserole with melted asiago was phenomenal, the casonzei-veal, pork and sausage filled pasta was excellent; my wife had the Hankerchief Pasta which was excellent also. Our daughters had the long pasta with braised wild boar salmi and the pan-roasted chicken and were greatly impressed. The steamed kale was also phenomenal. The service left a little to be desired--although very friendly, the waiter was quite slow considering he knew we had to rush to the theatre. He could not be found when we were ready to order; the bus staff and servers were more attentive, and again all staff were very welcoming and friendly. The creativity of the menu is exciting, and this place is attracting a diverse, trendy crowd.

First visit to celebrate husband's birthday. We brought our own wine for a fee, worth it for us. We started with stuffed peppers and the duck egg. Both excellent - the duck egg is a large portion, enough for two people. Flat iron steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to just the right medium rare. The pasta pillows that were stuffed with pork and veal sweetbreads were delicious. The fresh made pasta was thin and soft and melted in the mouth. The lemon panna cotta was creamy and not overly sweet, a great finish to a really good meal. Staff was great, not too pushy and not overly attentive. We'll definitely be back and we're spreading the word about it.

Focaccina flatbreads with a choice of toppings including crescenza cheese, handmade Hankerchief pasta with a light almond pesto, tiny pinched pastas with sausage, quail with wine and mushrooms, butterfish with wine and herbs, succulent pork belly, tongue with mashed potatoes and gravy, flat iron steak - all incredibly delicious and prepared to perfection! A wonderful night out! People of all ages having fun trying and sharing foods of all types. Not too loud. Vegan eating possible. Skilled service. And ohhh the Italian wines! Dessert? Yes! Cannelloni, gelatos, lemon and chocolate delights. A fabulous night out! Nice Casual. Moderately priced.

Wow is all I can say. Mateo (formerly of Drago Centro) has opened a new amazing eatery. The menu very authentic and in Italian, but not common items. We asked Mateo to recommend the starter, primi and secondi. Started with a bottle of Brunello and the Handkerchief pasta, next the octopus salad and finally the pork filets covered in almonds and the turkey loaf accompanied with something in the pea family and roasted potatoes. Follow with espresso and some cannelloni (pistachio and a slightly pungent orange) and it doesn't get much better than that!

Fabulous meal, fabulous service makes a wonderful memory!

Delicious and well worth the drive downtown. Actually, a bit east of downtown in the industrial area, Factory Kitchen is a re-purposed 1st floor space that is putting out some of the best Italian I've had. Knowledgeable wait staff. Very attentive and pleasant from the host to the busboys. Valet parking is a plus too. Great cocktails to start. All in all worth the trip.
