Our biggest problem was choosing which meals without any idea what would be served. We decided on the 8 course with wine pairing finally- and with zero regrets. Every dish had a note of brilliance. If this continues, Chef is on his way towards the legion of Ripert, Keller, Achatz, Humm & Dufresne.
Dish elements are subtle, never overbearing, and every element has a place in the dish and can be tasted cleanly without mess. Wine pairings are very good, some brilliant choices, and only one I did not care for. The eight course meal provided plenty of food without being overly stuffed, I'd love to go back and try another form of meal.
Service was excellent- Mary was our main server: attentive, great listener, wonderful suggestions.
The decor is simple and plain- focus is on the food, and it is well worth the trip. Go, and enjoy.
