Went for a late lunch had the tuna , and satay chicken. The service was good despite how busy it was. The rooftop area was really nice in the sun. The food was delicious would defnitely go back.

I stopped in here for lunch during a bike ride from the Sana Monica Pier. Had a nice, fresh shrimp salad and a seared tuna appetizer. They were both excellent and the wait staff was prompt. It's a bit small of a place and very eclectic by also fun with a great view of the beach.

Stopped here for lunch after several hours of bike riding. Beautiful spot on their upstairs patio overlooking the beach. Great lunch, fabulous mojitos, and attentive service. Quite a lively and loud crowd but it was perfect for our mood.

We sat on the balcony on a cool clear Friday night and watched the sun go down over Venice beach. Bar is realy well set up and is a really comfortable enviroment. Great value for happy hour and could not fault the food. We ate a few of the snacks for a light meal while enjoying a glass of red and the crisp night air!

Hello ! I'm Carl from Germany, member of the German Beach Boys-Fanclub "California Saga". I was at the restaurant in 85 when it was still called "Crab Shell". The Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson was often there, I got that info from bartender Leroy in those days. He had always parked his mobile home on the parking lot of the pier. I just wanted to ask if anybody at this location or just round the corner remembers Leroy and Dennis from those days !? I would thank very very much for an answer !! In March a female facebook friend of mine called Amanda, Beach Boys freak like me from England, is in LA and I told her to visit the restaurant because of Dennis. Thanks a lot..CARL
