“Environment is everything”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

The environment is great, decoration well selected, the location with private jets taxing few feets away! Great place for a party, great place for a happy hour.
The appetizers were ok, could be better, but no major complains. Place to return!

“Perfect Landing”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

You know to expect something different when you glimpse vintage aircraft, a 1940s ambulance and other WWII equipment and what appears to be a partly bombed out French farmhouse. This is the clever stage setting for a fine restaurant boasting a menu some might say is also charmingly mired in the past with such items as shrimp scampi and chicken scaloppine. We enjoyed calamari with Thai chili sauce and garlic aioli (both delicious) and prime rib cooked to perfection and delivered with smooth professional service. The rear of the restaurant overlooks the runways of the busy Van Nuys Airport meaning a constantly changing view of all sorts of aircraft. (Noise is not an issue.) This place is as much fun as the food is tasty..

“Charming Buffet”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

We recently visited the 94th AS and enjoyed their Sunday Champagne Brunch. The selection of food was great as well as the service. Recommend a visit if you are interested in going somewhere different with a variety of food items.

“Very Interesting Place, Old Country French Building”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

Had a business lunch at this very unique place with a great view of the runway and aircraft. The food was very nice, service was good, and the decor was really neat. The building is uniquely attractive and I felt like I was in an old French village.
The menu prices were reasonable and my COO enjoyed his lunch. The bring bread to the table and the bread was fresh.
For this part of Van Nuys, the locals say this is the hotspot for after hours. The place is a hidden gem and you would never expect to find a place like this at an airport. Very neat experience.
