Went here our first night in Hollywood because of its rich history (oldest restaurant in the city, since 1919). At first I liked the old-fashioned ambiance, until I realized that it was smelly, and the food actually very average to poor. I got an entree salad with the house dressing, which was very tasteless. My husband got a pasta dish, which was better than the salad but extremely overpriced. The waitstaff was awkward and there was absolutely no music playing in the background, which made it a very strange atmosphere. A friend recently had dessert there and ended up with moldy strawberries!
