Had breakfast at Du-Par's on Christmas morning. EXCELLENT pancakes and all the trimmings. Liked it so much we went back for dinner several nights later. This is an old fashioned dinnner next to the Farmer's Market. They have been featured on HGTV and I can see why. The service and food were superb along with great value and ambience. They are open 24/7 365 days a year. A can't miss while in Hollywood, Century City area.

Came here around 10pm on a Thursday night, as it was one of the few places still open that has a good variety. Solid variety. The table was a little dirty, although they might not have noticed. Our waiter was friendly. Every guest got something different, and everyone said it was OK. Good place to go with a big group of varying ages (toddlers to adults), as the menu is pretty extensive (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night). All in all, a not-bad experience.

I love Du-Par's. The world's best rhubarb pie. The world's best everything. Service can be a bit slow. But for absolutely great everything, from blt's to tuna melts to hash browns to french toast, this place just cannot be beat. This is a comfort food restaurant, with cozy booths, a counter, and waitresses in white uniforms. It's not haute cuisine. But who cares.

We were here during the Easter Sunday earthquake (the overhead lights were swaying) and locals took it all in stride, even smiling while they continued eating. The menu has no surprises--just hearty diner fare at fair prices. And the service is prompt and cheery. One of those places that makes you feel right at home right away. And the Grove and Farmers Market are just a few steps away!

Du pars is a 24 hr restaurant in the Farmers market in LA, we turned up for breakfast after a 6am start due to jet lag. As we were off to Universal Studios and the park and shopping centre didn't open until later we thought we'd have a drive around to the Farmers Market and see where we could have breakfast. Du Pars is a traditional old fashioned diner with a number of cheap eats on the menu, hot breakfasts, fresh muffins and of course pancakes. We really enjoyed our breakfast here especially the pancakes and would recommend it if you're stuck for something to do and wide awake at 6am. However if you get to the farmers market a bit later there are loads of choices inside the market which would all make good and sometimes very interesting alternatives.
