In LA visiting our daughter and decided to try TA for a nearby Thai restaurant. We hit the jackpot with Si Laa! Everything was very delicious, staff was most attentive, and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Well worth the trip!

We started with two orders of the hand pleated potstickers. OMG they are amazing. There were just two of us so we only ordered one more.
The flavours work in harmony with each other. The chilli oil is not to strong and enhances the chicken and scallions. Fantastic dish!!!
The spicy crab noodle is beyond description. It is so full of flavour balanced by balanced spiciness. The noodles are cooked perfectly.
Just can't get enough of it.
We drank a bottle of 2012 Araujo Viognier. Perfect wine with perfect food.
The table next to us had a you son about 10 years old. They were encouraging his input for what he wanted to eat. I love that early training in a great restaurant. He WILL grow up a foodie.
The whole Bronzino is so crispy. It IS the Best crispy fish anywhere. The three flavours are incredible.
The Thai fried rice with chicken is great. The tomatoes area wonderful accompaniment.7

The service is wonderful. Very attentive. They know what all the dishes ingrédients. The timing is perfect.
If you only have time for one dinner in LA this is the place to have it.
This is way beyond a five star meal.

This was probably my tenth time at Si Laa. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food is always delicious. My favorites this time were Short Rib Green Curry, crispy whole bronzino and Hidden Treasures. Wonderful flavors. Like so many good LA restaurants, there are usually one or two entertainment celebrities there having a quiet meal without fanfare.
Give it a try.

We have eaten here a number of times. It is a nice modern space that is easy to miss in the middle of a block. For a Thai restaurant the menu is limited. For instance, they serve Filet Mignon Satay, but not chicken satay. The food is very good. Service is very good. Check the menu before you to to make sure they have dishes you want. If they have it, it will be very good.

We have gone many times and the Thai food is awesome. We've tried all the appetizers and now always get the Hidden Treasures. Delicious! The crispy duck dinner is amazing! The Branzino is a fun experience and yummy, and the short rib is good but a little heavy for us. The crispy duck cannot be beat! The Pad Thai noodles are our first pick followed by Devil's or Pad See You. The two adorable waitresses are the owners daughters and are always happy to help with your selection. It can get pricey so know that going in but it is fine dining and the food is excellent. You get your money's worth!
