I highly recommend the shrimp paste fried rice "Khao Kluk Kapi".
It comes with sides of diced sweet pork sausage, tangy shredded green apple and shredded omelet. Just toss with the fried rice and enjoy!
Their green papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing. Not the best though. The steamed Garoupa fish in lemony broth was a winner. The young server who spoke very little English gestured that it was a whole fish, assuring us we won't be able to finish. She emphasized it was $15, trying to steer us to a fillet instead.
Cash only, credit for bills above $15. Open late with Karaoke and full bar. Reservation for big groups, otherwise walk-in welcome.
