The food was decent, the service was dreadful. The busboy kept passing through our table and knocking things around.. The attitude of the servers was also below aberage at best....

Shamshiri was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in Iran, so he knows what good Persian food should taste like! We loved everything that we've tried here, particularly the kebobs and the bread. The portions are quite large, so two could easily dine off of one appetizer and one main dish. We like to sit right in front of the cooks and watch them work. The rice pot is HUGE!

A group of friends and I decided to go out for Persian food, which I had never had before. Since the eating area is quite small, we were placed out in the deck area that was enclosed, but was rather away from the ambience and music of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the appetizer plate for a group as it allowed us to try various sauces, hummus, and the falafel bread. We tried various kabobs as our entrees, which all came with tons of meat and rice, much more than one person could or would want to eat. The chicken kabob was nicely marinated and delicious, but the lamb and beef were rather plain. A nice sauce would have livened them up. The food was plentiful though, and we took many boxes home! The service was good and the cost was very reasonable.

Great appetizers, although hummus is average. Kebabs are very good. Shawerma is average, the chicken should be better diced. Beware that entrees are MASSIVE portions, can easily split.
