... that being said, there are better sushi restaurants within a couple blocks that aren't all-you-can-eat. They have a lot of choices on the AYCE menu and most are good, some however should be avoided (the scallops). We love their samurai rolls and get several of those every time we go. They have several locations, and we usually go to the one in Sherman Oaks on Venture Blvd. Parking can be difficult, but we've found street parking reasonably close with no issues so far.

They do make everyone at the table order all-you-can-eat or no one can order it. All or nothing it is. So, make sure everyone wants that option before going.

We've gone to this location a few times, and it was never that impressive. Last time was horrendous. We ordered all you can eat and was told our children who could not eat that much would have to sit at a separate table in a different area of the restaurant. We decided to order regular sushi and the fish was spoiled. We complained, but the waiter didn't care. The level of indifference and rude attitude alone will deter from ver coming here again, not to mention spoiled fish! Others has had the same experience.

Stopped in for some all-you-can-eat sushi while in town on business. Five of us guys ordered various sushi and sashimi dishes. I felt most of the rolls were soggy/greasy and really didnt have one that I loved. Chicken was hard and not tasty. I thought L.A. would be a step above when it came to sushi but I far prefer my hometown spots and now appreciate them more having eaten here!

Also, because we all had to pay on seperate tickets we were stuck with a surcharge for using more than 4 cards.

My friend and I stayed at Blvd Hotel when we heard that there's a great sushi house nearby. We checked the address and found that it was only 25 minute walk from the hotel, so we decided to walk there, when it actually took us around an hour walk (around 1.2 miles distance) til our leg felt sore.

We ordered several set of sushi and their signature rolls and we realized our long walk didnt go waste. Their sushi and rolls were fresh, soft and tasteful. The service was good and fast. It was a satisfying dinner for us. The atmosphere itself wasnt that great, since the resto wasnt too big but really crowded. Some even waited outside to get seated, but i think it proved the sushi house popularity.

We'd go back there again when we have a chance to visit LA again.

Loved that it was all you can eat! Be careful though - the bring regular sized rolls out and if you don't finish the ENTIRE thing - you pay the difference. A great way to try new things, but don't be too adventurous or you'll end up paying for it... :)
