Last night was to be my first visit to Club Nokia to see Easton Corbin and even with the hundreds of shows I've been to all over the country, I was completely impressed with Club Nokia!!
Left Manhattan Beach at 7:45pm and it only took me 25 minutes to get there. I prepaid parking and had perfect directions to the West garage thanks to the person who answered the phone. The garage was well lit, clean and had good signs showing me where to go. Went up all the escalators and once I got up to the street I realized I was in the same complex as Staples Center, Conga Room, Grammy Museum, Wolfgang Puck and lots more! What a NICE, CLEAN, COOL little center for entertainment and food! I asked someone to point me in the direction of Club Nokia and went up more escalators to the 3rd floor only to find a really nice, smallish - yaaaay!!!, clean and well-staffed venue! Very organized, friendly staff, easy to get in, no issues whatsoever! The stage is well-placed, has a modern feel with clean lines, simple but nice to look at. Really excellent sound quality, lots of bartenders waiting to serve you, fantastic light show. Easton Corbin was just as awesome as I hoped he would be! He was chatty and playful with the crowd, very gracious, made a few jokes, sang song after song and gas SUCHHH an AWESOME voice. He is SUCH a cutie! I'm so glad I got to see him!! My favorite song was "A little more country than that". I LOVE THAT SONG!!!
It was mostly standing room only, which is just fine for a venue that size and the guy at the entrance to the "pit" even offered for me to come down and stand closer to the stage. Cool! Getting out was just as easy as it was getting in.
Overall a SUPERIOR concert and venue experience!! I would most definitely recommend to others and make a point to go back again!
