“I've had better.”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Service was attentive. The food variety was not too impressive though, especially for the price. I've had better brunch elsewhere for the same or similar price. I tried one of the things from the carving station; it was dry. My friend tried the flounder. She said it was dry, too, although she enjoyed the osso bucco. We sat near the station where fajitas were prepared. I felt ventilation was poor.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

This is our second time dining at the Odyssey and both times We have been disappointed. The price is way too high for the quality of the brunch. It's not bad, but not worth the price. I had an omelet that was overcooked, the prime rib was very dry and the seafood was not of high quality. The waffles were good but ow do you mess up a waffle? Overall, you are paying for the views and mediocre food at best.

“Beautiful Location for Reception”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Wen here for a friends wedding reception. the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was great. Will go back 100% next time I am in the area. It is a little hard to get to up on the hill, just watch the drive, road up to it needs work.

“Outstanding brunch”
Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

Went to the Odyssey for Sunday brunch to celebrate the wife's birthday. Nancy, our server, took excellent care of us; attentive but nonintrusive. She kept our glasses topped off and the staff kept the brunch plates cleared. The food was absolutely over the top. Fresh sea food, peel and eat shrimp, snow crab clusters and the biggest mussels I've ever seen anywhere. They have several cooked to order stations serving pasta, omelets, fajitas and oriental stir fry. A separated kids buffet targeted the younger sets specific tastes with corn dogs and a big bowl of gummy bears. Oh, and lest I forget, the hot carving station had an excellent roast of beef, succulent ham and a very moist and flavorful turkey breast.
This place is certainly not a cheap meal but the quality, service and ambience make it an excellent value. In other words, you will get your money's worth.

“Great View”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I've been going to the Odyssey Restaurant for years. The food is good and the view of the San Fernando Valley great! Go at dusk or evening to get the full impact of the view.
