“Great Food and Service!”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

My family and I went to The Capri during our trip to California after seeing it on the show Kitchen Nightmares. We LOVED it, the owners were great and the food was amazing, I suggest you try the herbed chicken and fingerling potatoes! I recommend this restaurant to everyone :)

“Not so great; socially awkward staff/owners”
Reviewed February 16, 2012

Not bad. Not great.
Owners are friendly, but very socially awkward and uncomfortable. They use weird words when you ask a question or order something. If you ask for a pitcher of beer they might say "that's marvelous" or something weird. It's not quirky or friendly- it's odd. They said weird stuff to all the tables and they speak way too loudly.

Garlic nuts are decent. The garlic cloves they serve on the side are good but served very unattractively.

Pizza- not so good. A bit dry and flavorless yet still edible.

Pasta entrees were so so. The meatballs are a bit rubbery yet they have an oh kay flavor.

I found the sauce to be sort of ...ehhh...it seems sloppily made- the consistency is kind of choppy. it's neither smooth nor chunky. it's just a bit unattractive and the flavor is oh kay.

This is definitely not the worst place in the world at all, but I wouldn't spend my $$ here if I were you either.
