“Great Italian”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Along with red leather booths & GREAT service, the food here is the best! Large portions at reasonable prices. Their antipasto salad (large or small) is the best around! They also have an all you can eat spaghetti with salad & beverage (including wine). Plus all the bread (French or rolls) you can eat! By far, the best place to eat! If you want real Italian food, this is the place to eat!

“Great Pizza, good service”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Visited Lido Pizza with my wife and her sister for an evening meal. The Pizza was great, and my wife enjoyed her pasta dish. The restaurant was like a journey back in time with the red leather booth we were seated in. Prices were ok for an evening meal, and what we didn't eat was boxed to go. Server was friendly and helpful when asked questions about the menu.

“Worth a second visit, which we did!”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

First time here was during recent 5 day trip to LA. Enjoyed dinner so much, we returned on Sunday night. Group had various raviolis, fettucinis, eggplant, etc. Good, warm bread. Nice glass of wine. Plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Prompt service, but not rushed. Only complaint was noise level--very high. Hard to chat above the noise.Parking is tight, so carpool, prepare to park a block or 2 away on street. Would return.

“Best Pizza Ever."”
Reviewed September 1, 2011

Lido's is in walking distance from our house, so we go a couple times a month. It is the perfect little neighborhood Italian restaurant. It's not fancy, but it feels like a restaurant. The people are great, too. But it is all about the pizza. The crust is perfect--just the right amount of crisp on the bottom, pretty thin but still good to bite into. The cheese--it's like butter. No really. It has a yummy flavor that hints at buttery. I'm getting poetic, so I'll end with this: My husband is a New Yorker. It is the only pizza he will eat in L.A.

“great pizza, pasta and excellent service”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

hello i am a lido pizza regular, i go to lido, about once a week. great caesar salad, if you do not like croutons like i don't get it with garbanzo beans, sounds strange, but it works. the italian salad is also great, and the italian dressing good as well.
pizza, i would recommend,a medium size, a little less cheese, crisp. my favorite toppings, are bell peppers, or the sauteed mushrooms, which are sauteed with garlic, and some white white is added. Juanito in the kitchen, is a great chef, and has great attention to detail. on the floor, Ivan is my favorite server. he knows exactly what he is doing. will actually give you freshly ground pepper on your salad, which is hard to find in most restaurants these days..
the pasta is home made, their marinara, or meat marinara are great sauces. but the clams, and linguine with white sauce is my favorite. there alfredo is great, its not super heavy, like so many places make. it almost is like a broth, and has just the right amount of clam juice in it,
a great finisher for your meal is a scoop of pistachio gelato: toasted pistachio, in creamy goodness. or the tiramiso is great as well.
