Some friends and I stumbled onto this place when we weren't even hungry. We had just eaten at Wurstkuche, which is right across the street, but we couldn't pass it up. Anyone who likes dessert would love it here. The menu is interesting, with fun names like The Lonely Pie and Friend of Pie (dolled up banana bread, which looked delicious). They serve your typical dessert pies, but they also have savory pies if you want to make an entire meal of it. We got there about 7:30 on a Saturday night, and they were already out of a few things. We tried the Whoopie Pie, the Maple Custard and the Mexican Chocolate pie, and it's hard to choose a favorite. There was a bit of a salty flavor to the whoopie pie and the custard, which was a delicious surprise, and the Mexican Chocolate was everything you expect from a chocolate pie and more. Of course they also sell an array of coffee options (what goes better with pie than coffee), and the staff was very friendly. The only thing I would suggest is that you should try to get there early, because by the time we left around 9ish, they were sold out of everything. Or you could always order a pie online to ensure they have what you want when you go there. But if not, I think this place is definitely worth the early dessert just to try such deliciousness.
