Description: Two simple wooden doors open up to quite a buzz in an otherwise romantic courtyard, where a colorful crowd hangs at the bar and lingers at coveted patio tables. Inside, seats spread throughout the candlelit house-turned-restaurant with intimate decor. Organic seasonal ingredients, creatively prepared and impeccably presented, characterize our unique menu.

I attended a hosted bridal shower at The Little door. There were about 30 people in our party, we sat outside on the vine covered garden patio. What a cute place this is!! Great atmosphere. The scallop and goat cheese appetizers, the gazpacho soup, and the Salmon were all delicious. Excellent Food and yes, a little expensive based on the prices posted online, but one would expect this given the fact that this is a trendy LA type, boutique restaurant where the rich and famous dine.

The best part of my dining experience at The Little Door was the service. The staff was great and genuinely nice. They made you feel welcome and the service was prompt and attentive.

This was my first visit to The Little Door, but hopefully not my last.

I recently arranged a group dinner with work colleagues here. From the moment we walked through the little front door and found ourselves in the inner courtyard, we were treated like old friends. The mediterranean cuisine really suits the location. I loved the feeling of dining under bouganvilla flowers and we could not really hear the traffic just footsteps away. Our group of seven sampled practically everything from seafood to lamb to vegetarian entrees. And it was a good thing we saved room for dessert, as their daily selections were excellent.

As many mentioned before, the restaurant is only accessible through an unmarked door. Basically, if you don't know about it, you would just walk by without thinking much of it. There are valet parkers outside and which costed 6$, which is a pretty good deal, considering, that you won't have to worry about finding a spot.
Once you pass through the little door, the ambience is just amazing and is set for a romantic dinner. There are palmtrees, candles, nice decor...and on top of that, it is out in the open but you wouldn't be able to tell, as it is skillfully covered by trees etc.
The food was amazing and so was the service...the only drawback is the price, but I guess you get what you pay for.

As someone who lives in Los Angeles, we are often asked, "What is your favorite restaurant?" That award goes to The Little Door. For us, it wins first for the atmosphere. It's a romantic, candle lit environment that feels a little like a European home and patio. Second, we love the French/Moroccan food. We love Moroccan cuisine and we think they make the best cous-cous in Los Angeles. Whenever we want a romantic mini-trip to Europe, we pick up the phone and make a reservation at The Little Door.

I love the little door. Everyone that I have taken there loves it. The Prime rib-eye is one of my favorite dishes but they have so many wonderful dishes on a menu that has new items all the time.
The Morocan mint tea is to die for... The chef here is one of the best in Los Angeles.
