I have been going to Marguerite for a while, now, mostly for brunch. The food is always delicious, although they are fairly rigid about substitutions. Prices are surprisingly inexpensive for the Marina. Free parking by the beach (although your car will be towed if you leave it there to stroll around after eating). In the last month or so, they seem to have gotten rid of their infamously rude waiters and hired some nice ones, and the service has greatly improved. You still should not expect constant maintenance from your waitstaff, but that gives you more time to have a leisurely meal and chat at this cute, sidewalk cafe. Try the crepe a la reine or the omelettes. Also - if you order a side of fresh fruit, they'll bring you a bowl of huge, delicious strawberries and melon.
