Trying to find a place for South American food is not that easy and this restaurant does it right. Food is diverse and portions are very big. We had the Rio's plate and some kind of pasta which were pretty good. The place in itself is nice and the atmosphere cozy. Service was good though I felt it was a bit rushed.

We stopped here for lunch on our last day in Hollywood after it was recommended to us by a friend.
I ordered the gorgonzola burger, my wife ordered the pasta and my sons ordered the bolognese and a sandwich.
We were not disappointed with the food at all! So delicious and tasty. My burger was to die for.
The only down point I would mention was that our waiter made us fill our own to go containers as we could not finish all our foods, whereas he did it himself for the table opposite.

Bossa nova provides Brasilian food in substantial portions - the catch of the day (sea bass) came with black bean sauce, deepfried bananas, and rice, which was enough to feed a hungry tourist. They also have Brasilian beer - definitely worth sampling! For some reason the waiter gave us free t-shirts.

Bossa Nova is a cozy restaurant with delicious food and great service. We arrived early so it was easy getting a table - when we left there was a line, so I would recommend getting there early.

Extensive menu with traditional Brazilian food as well as American/Italian dishes. Our food was very good and we will def be back soon!!
