...cheerful and super tasty. What more do you want from a late night food option? The range of pizzas was great, the vibe was cool and the service super friendly.

“Great Pizza in Venice, CA”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

This place was a nice "local" treat in Venice. The bagel crust was best I ever had. I tried the Chicken Curry pizza and salad pizza both were delicious. Both were huge slices (bigger then you get in NYC) and truly enough to fill myself up. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even cooked a whole pizza of my liking just so I could have a single slice. Only have about 4 or 5 seats in the place, therefore, it's something you either order take out or eat and walk.

“Great pizza”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

We were staying in Venice for a week, and one night when we wanted a casual dinner, we called in an order of a couple of pizzas, and went to pick it up.

Well, it really was good stuff. Good, classic pizzeria pizza (American style, not the Italian thin crust type). I wasn't sure what to expect of the 'bagel crust', but it didn't taste like a bagel - just a really good crust, with a choice of sesame, poppy seed or mixed on the edges, like in a bagel place :)

The salads were also huge! We were 5 people (4 of whom wanted salad), and asked how many the salads fed, so ordered 2 of them. But we could only finish half of it !

Not sure I'd tell someone elsewhere in L.A. to go all the way here for pizza, but if you are in the Venice area, and in the mood for a classic pizza, you will be very happy.

“Excellent crust”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Fun little place on the coolest street in Venice. So many awesome combinations it was hard to pick. One of the best pizzas I've had for sure...the crust was perfect! Very friendly staff too.

“Pizza & Local Appeal”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Walking down Abbott Kinney enjoying the sunshine and unique shops and hunger called. The pizza shop is very small with 2 counters and maybe 12 stools, but don't let that put you off. Everyone was friendly and shared the space. Pizza is NY style thin and delicious. I wished I would have ordered the greens/pizza, salad greens w/dressing on a slice of pizza. Next visit I will. It was cool to watch the pizza makers stretch and throw the dough laughing and joking. Great atmosphere. Put money in the tip jar (of course you will) and hear them call out thanks and ring the bell. Excellent service. We search out independent restaurants with great food and local appeal and this one is a gem.
