“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

This restaurant is located across the street from the Residence Inn in Beverly Hills. It is a very large, well established restaurant that always seemed to be open. It serves an excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a large take out section of the restaurant which we used to take some excellent deserts back to our hotel room in the evenings. We ate here three times in four days, that is how good the food is.

“Nice Deli in the heart of Pico”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We stopped here on our way home to San Diego to have lunch. It is a nice deli and was well attended for a Sunday morning. We had soup and blintzes, my wife had a tongue sandwich. The service was excellent but we thought the food was not up to the taste of Brent's in Northridge.

“Great food, great value.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Spoilt for choice on the menu.
Wanted to eat somewhere casual after a full day at the theme park.
The waitress was polite and efficient.
I would class it as good home cooked food. Would definitely recommend you try it.

“Interesting Place”

The prices were reasonable and we got a seat during a busy time. The food was good. The waitress was a bit grumpy, but very polite.

“Huge menu makes for indecision”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013 via mobile

So much to choose from, and huge meals as well. Start with complimentary sweet sliced cucumber and dill pickles. I had the beef brisket on rye, with potato salad. Very nice, but needed to get some flavour into the thinly sliced lashings of brisket with some horseradish. Very tender though.

Atmosphere is typical deli style, with booths & tables. The deli is well stocked as well. Only food problem was the lukewarm coffee. Generally in the US the coffee is too hot, not here however.

Service is attentive, but not welcoming. Indifference seems to be the style of such places. Value was not bad.
