Excellent hotel in every respect. Updated bathrooms with oversized tiled showers w/ multi-faucets - so great! The most comfortable beds. Really good selection of complimentary continental breakfast items. Immaculately clean. Wi Fi included complimentary. Super helpful friendly staff. Free and easy parking. Well priced. Excellent location. I felt welcomed and well taken care of.

In general, nothing is close to anything in LA, so we were thrilled to find a hotel that was walking distance to a few key attractions and had good public transport connections. And since we had an 11 day stay, we were thrilled not to be paying double as one would at most other hotels.
The beds were really comfortable, showers good, rooms clean. The hotel needs to improve on the quality of the breakfast as well as the quality of the AC, which is pretty loud. We skipped the breakfast after the first day, usually walking to the nearby farmers market (awesome dining options), or bringing home something to keep in the fridge for morning. We felt it was silly to get touchy about the breakfast, as with the price of the room, we were getting excellent value even without brekkie.
Service was low key and helpful. Never in your face, never a hand out for a tip, but they were there to help us whenever we needed a cab, a package delivered to the room, or directions.

Thought I was going to be treated to a nice, quaint, botique hotel. No such luck.

This was a nice place back in the 80's. Not now. But the rooms, linens, beds, carpet, towels are all still stuck in the 80's. Just a nice place that has grown old and is run down.

B'fast is a selection of cold cereal, cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, and some pastries. Very plain, very simple... enough to make you want to walk down the street to the nearest coffee shop. At least for the 3 days I stayed there in March.

Parking? HA! There is NONE. Parking consists of the hotel handing you a neighborhood permit and pointing you to the door to go find your own on-street parking. In a residential area. HA! There is none! Oh, yes, they have a contract w/Wells Fargo bank a block away, but you can't park there after 8am or before 6pm.

Go find a Hampton Inn... you'll be much more happy, I assure you.

Room Tip: Best tip I can give you is: go somewhere else.

Nice staff, comfortable accomodation, clean, simple breakfast with enough choices,
simple and practical amenities, charming, walking distance to plenty places to visit,
and good value. Was staying there to attend an event at LACMA. Will be back.

I stayed here for 2 nights during a stop over in L.A. I picked the hotel due to its location and affordability. It was everything I expected.... Quaint, nice sized rooms. A little noisy if by the road but 12 min walk to the farmers market made it perfect.
Breakfast is nothing to write home about but perfectly fine. Wifi is slow and needs upgrading.
The super shuttle pick up and drop off to and from the hotel was great. Easy and perfect for a newbie to L.A like me.
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location at a decent price

Nestled in a corner lot just off Wilshire Bldv, it's a rather charming hotel in its own right. It is family run an the manager is a very pleasant gentlemen. The breakfasts are more than sufficient, ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to cottage cheese, breakfast cereal and pastries.

The nearest bus stop is but one street away (Wilshire Blvd) and you can catch a bus there to go about anywhere in LA. Just one more street up and you can catch rapid bus that will take you straightaway to the beach at Santa Monica Pier (eazie peezie).

Furthermore, on that very street are restaurants and a market store, which is conveniently a 99 cent store, that has everything from groceries to stationers.

It's a perfect hotel, and at a good value, for a Beverley Hills stay.

I went with my wife who is pretty picky and she loved it.
The rooms were clean. There was a problem and someone was there to
help in less than 10 minutes,
Perfect location.
Had a car and they provided permit parking.
Breakfast was very nice and even the owner came over to greet us
For the money we paid was a great value
