I would give this place five stars a week ago but.... Last night I had the most disturbing experience in the women's locker room.
Upon checking in, the clerk advised us that "there was a transgender male in the women's locker room" ... Ok... No problem, I'm not the type to discriminate people, but once in the women's area, I saw the mentioned "transgender" individual naked in all his glory, and he still had a male organ hanging there...ok...no fuzz... That surgery is very expensive anyways, so I go on my routine and I get to the shower room, he was almost next to me showering too when I start to overhear hearing the conversation that he is having with a lady that was also in the shower area, I clearly heard him say that he has had sex with probably one hundred women and that he was looking for a female girlfriend to share his time with.... He also mentioned that he uses cocaine and LSD to "relax" ... Ok...not my business what he uses to relax... But hey, a transgender person does not act like a guy around women nor they state how much they like women nor how much they like having sex with them! This guy is Not transgender, he seems to be just a "pervie" , and given his accent he is from another country, Europe I believe.
I heard from other ladies there that he goes there quite often.
I have nothing against gay people or transgender etc. but every gay guy I know uses the men's locker rooms when in the spa.
Management said that according to the Law there was nothing they could do... Yes they can reserve their right to provide services to anyone, that's not against the law. They can deny entrance to this person based on his behavior, not on his gender,
I enjoy going to the Wi Spa and is not fair to me or other women to be put in this position where you basically have to leave the Spa because you feel uncomfortable in such situation.
I wouldn't have minded the situation at all if that guy was really transgender, but obviously he is not.
I'm concerned about my safety and the safety of other women in the spa, like I said, I wouldn't have minded if he was really truly transgender, and preferably without that wig that he took off to wash...
This is a call to the owners of the Spa to protect their valued customers
Thank you

* Warning * if you are not comfortable in your skin this place will be really uncomfortable
I’ve now visited Wi Spa 5 times and I just love it here. Everything from the full body scrub to the clay room , and the noodles with the amazing broth. Every time I visit I leave feeling amazing and rejuvenated. I’ve even started a little regimen for my ultimate relaxation.
If you plan of visiting I would suggest you try the full body scrub just another * warning * if you don’t regularly exfoliate don’t be surprised if you see a mountain of dead skin at the end of your service.
I would also suggest one of the many relaxing rooms they offer on the 3rd floor (the neutural floor so please make sure you wear the shorts and shirt provided) along with the Korean food restaurant.
On my last trip I discovered they had a rooftop deck with fire pits and a beautiful rare unobstructed view of the sky. I would suggest going at night, after all this pampering a bed should be your final destination.

I flew into Los Angeles before my Airbnb was ready and I needed to find something to pass the time. Wi Spa came out in my search results with really good reviews... So I hoped in a Lyft and made my way over there from the airport.
The facility is massive and takes up a whole block. The entrance fee was $25 but you could also get additional services like massages and body scrubs.
There's a spacious men's locker room with access to all the different areas: saunas, tubs, co-ed level, sleeping room, fitness center, and relaxing area.
I was impressed at how this place was laid out and clean. The maintenance team was always working to make sure the place was in good condition.
Would definitely return on my next visit to LA. It's also a great place to relax during a layover or before you head out on a long flight.

This was my very first visit a Korean Spa. I will say I've seen what they have looked like in Korean dramas, but honestly it was so amazing! The spas different rooms and saunas as well as their rooftop floor had great relaxing vibes. Everybody in the spa was nice and really just doing their own thing. I was looking up detail reviews before my trip just to get me mentally ready and there wasn't one. So for those who are really interested here is a detailed version of my experience:
Upon arriving it was a pretty easy check in. They had valet service to no need to worry about your car. We got there at about 11AM. The entrance fee is $25, however if you are doing a treatment (massage, facial, & etc) that are over $120 then they waive the fee. I unfortunately forgot to book a body scrub (as my girlfriends did before we got there) and when we got to the place they said their next appointment wasn't till 4PM. It was fine for me because I wanted to check out the whole place in general. The front desk hands you your locker bracelet, towels, slippers, & the Wi Spa shirt. The women's floor is the basement. Here you can be as naked as you want. When you walk down to the floor there are the shorts you can use and robes. After you change into the shirt and shorts you can pretty much freely go to wherever you want. Your locker bracelet gives your access to open and close your locker and they use that number if they need to call you down for your treatment time if you forget. The whirl pool & plunge pool area is completely naked. Honestly at one point it would feel weird to not be naked because everybody is and no judgement at all.
My friends showered up before their body scrub appointment so I really just wandered for a bit. The women's floor also has a table area with TV's a place to lay on the ground with mats (floors were heated too!) and a sleepy room (they do offer for you to stay the night for an extra fee). So pretty big! I went to the Jimjilbang (common room) floor which allowed both male & females to hang around. This floor has all the 5 sauna rooms, kids area, book area, & the restaurant on this floor. Then when you went a half floor up was the treatment room for facials, nails, & etc.
At this point I was feeling like I had to get something done. So I called up the front desk to see if they had a facial appointment available and to my luck they did! The facial was amazing and so relaxing! I got a Microdermabrasion Facial! I will say my face never felt so amazing! I really enjoyed it.
After wards meet up my girlfriends back down in the women's sleeping room where we all basically took a good nap in. Afterwards we explored more together. This time the different sauna rooms. I am not a great sauna person, really just can't stand the heat. So the only room I felt the most comfortable being in was the clay sauna room. Definitely a bit tricky to get in since they were clay balls you possible walking on, but definitely a big room and the heat wasn't too bad after a while. After that room I just want immediately into the ice sauna which was so nice after being in the 126F clay room.
After this we checked out the rooftop which was so relaxing and had a great nice breeze. So many seats and chairs to lay out on. Even had a couple of TVs around. After this we went back downstairs to shower and change to leave. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, & body gel. As well as having hair dryers and toothbrush & tooth paste. The fact that everything basic you need was there was so helpful and relaxing. At the end you just go back to the front desk to check out and hand back the bracelet that activated your locker.
Honestly the whole time at the spa was so relaxing I would really go back again!

Little people meaning the children. Depending when you go there could be kids screaming and jumping in and out of the pools like it is Hurricane Harbor. Best advised to visit mornings or very late nights. Other than that the spa is beauitful, multiple hot tubs, saunas and a great roof top lounging area. I prefer to go alone so I can enjoy myself and relax.

I spent my first day in LA here. It's great and affordable. Spa services are a must! The only thing I didn't like was people not reading the rules and getting into the tubs with bathing suits on right after they got out of the sauna. The staff was great, the building is little old and in a sketch area so that wasn't awesome. Everything else I loved.
